Prof. Palfreyman, I would suggest that you clarify your examples a bit. As a physicist I don't quite follow them You do use "effort" and "flow" slightly different than stocks and flows. But add in a third element that is closer to stock. q (charge) for example. Voltate is the "pressure" that make the charge flow as current. And momentum is dependent on mass as well as velocity. and I don't see position as accumulaing perhps it would be clearer to say the distance (d) accumulates. I don't see how "position" accumulates. A position is just where a body is at any moment. This is probably jus a language difference but it could lead to confusion. Bill Ellis
