I appreciated your easy to follow explanation. I'm not 'worn down' by the discussions, but I AM worn down by extremely complicated (read cluttered) models whose connecting lines et al make the visual so full and unphrased that one's mind pulls up an image of the Gordian knot plus the matching urge to slash through it. And I'm a retired teacher with 35 years teaching behind her as well as an MA + 70 credits who was lucky enough to have had a teacher who was into systems.

There has to be a less cluttered design, even when the relationships are many and intricate.

Also, given the current budget crisis, we need ways that don't depend on computer input. Plain old pencil and paper are hard enough for some people to come by.
