~~It's really enriching to share experiences and povs. The ground level one still holds, together with the rest of it. Just don't know how much the stockpiles of laid out materials you describe have changed. I suspect the unexpected events - emerging characteristics - affected that flow!
The cathedral has definitely been in use all or most of that time.
~~Yes, the fire didn't close it. Just the damaged section while repairs were made. It has reopened.
~~to increase income for the church
yes - part of the need rose from the cost to repair the damage inside and out. Even the organ was damaged. And the ground on one side of an auxilliary building caved in. Reached to the very foundation of the building. That problem's solution was incorporated into the new building's structure.
Incidentally, although I am not a church member, I sang in the Chancel Choir until just recently, so my pov isn't limited to a view from a window.
And I guess you know it has a school. How great it would be to get an SD approach there.
Take care.
