Indeed, there are many student-athletes who take that the student portion of that title seriously. The original closed loop story (B Gorman, 2/4, clipped below) tells a story with tight parameters, and so is easily followed around a single minimal variable circle. Certainly there are many intervening variables, some accumulating, some diminishing, each triggering something.

I am wondering if anyone will take up the opening . . . or perhaps many of you will . . . and we might build the CLD from the basic loop to include other likely elements. If you do add on, please narrate your thinking. Watching each other work through the logic will quite helpful.

By the way, I used Vensim PLE, a free download.
