Well, duh, it's feedback!
Posted by Tim Joy on 7/1/2010
Without pens and papers and boxes and pipes, without chalkboards and whiteboards and smartboards and mortarboards, without computers and calculators and pictures and video, without anything but a person's body and the few physical things found in a classroom, how might we get students to experience - and, thereby, learn - what feedback is and why we use it everyday to survive?
Can you get students to do these things without talking?
Can we close off one feedback, but attempt to compensate with others?
Some summertime thoughts while watching the riveting and utterly vacuous show Wipeout!.
