I attended the iSee User's Conference last week where the subject of the current structure of education at schools was a frequent topic. A friend at the conference recommended that I investigate the ideas of Sir Ken Robinson at: http://www.ted.com/speakers/sir_ken_robinson.html which I just got around to doing.
