There are a number of avenues to pursue. All three of the previous suggestions are good ones. One path through the materials on the CLE CD ( or website) might be for both parent (and child) to:


Read the intro packet
Work through MSST from the Vt. System dynamics folks as well as their demodozen before going on to Road Maps ( also on the website and the CD.)
Look through the curriculum to see what jumps out as an interesting piece to work through.
Stay tuned for the following coming up soon:

A system dynamics course written by Diana Fisher soon to be published by isee systems.
A book with introductory lessons ( you might want to work through these with a group, rather than just one child) called the Shape of Change coming out this spring. All the lessons will be posted on the website as well.
