I'm really sorry - I've just googled all round the place, but not found it. I'm pretty sure it was either this week or last week, and it was in the German press - so either in the Sueddeutsche Zeitung or on the ZDF television news. But it was about some newly published report - so maybe that report was in the States or here (in Germany). It indicated that high-earners aren't necessarily good at maths, but usually are good at calculating with numbers - fractions in particular, I seem to remember.
