Pedro,
I have been impressed with the ST and SD work done in Latin America and especially Mexico. For example, Jose Garcia Barrios, working at EcoSur in Chiapas created an online game that helps people learn holistic watershed management, using a simulation model http://mesmis.gira.org.mx/mesmis-interactivo He did this as part of the project that created another great tool: El Marco para la Evaluación de Sistemas de Manejo de recursos naturales incorporando Indicadores de Sustentabilidad (MESMIS). I teach the use of this tool in my class, and to other farmers. I know of nothing like it in the USA to teach agroecosystem management.
As I am teaching ecological agriculture at the university level, I would be very interested in systems thinking learning tools that you have found useful at that level. I cannot access the stm files you have sent because I use Vensim to run simulations, and do not have Stella software. If you have simulation models that might be useful in teaching, could you send a picture of the stock/flow diagrams, and the equations and parameters. With that data I can recreate those models in Vensim.
Your website looks very interesting. I can read spanish, and have tried to access the materials on your site, http://www.gruposinapsys.com but I see no way to register, to get a nombre de usario and contrasena necessary to enter the site.
Thanks, Karl
