School Model - Teacher Training

I want to add my experience into the mix which is personal, I have never been a teacher, but I work with education data in my state, I also am deriving a few things from my personal life as the son of a teacher in India when education system went through a revamp from colonized education to free India education.
In an optimal situation education is a transaction between two entities, the teacher and the student. We economized it creating class rooms, schools and institutions. No matter, how much we try to analyze it as a group activity, it is truly a two entity activity. (Teacher is a broader term here meaning the one imparting 'Education' to the student.). The mechanistic model which I can think of 'Education' is a charge discharge cycle of battery. Students function as a battery cell in a charging cycle. I believe if we can pull out some of the new research on the battery charge cycle into education modelling, we should find a set of interesting facts. For example a misguided funding has a retarding effect on education, same as reverse voltage, eddy currents just to name two.
I will be keen to see if there is any work in this metaphor. I have learnt a lot in this group. Thank you all for keeping the topic in the forefront.
