I have recently used a standard model for the spread of an infectious disease with a class of seventh graders studing human body systems and diseases. I was using the TfU pedagogical framework in a course related to technology (its a long story).
I would love to develop curricula for the use of sys dyn models with middle school students collaboratively....for example - elaborating on the model of the spread of an infectious disease - I would like to include a cost factor in this model...
