Hi John,

A constant source of frustration to me is the almost cultural rift that exists between my bioinformatics students, who mostly come from a biology background, and the mathematical skills which they are expected to develop here. Consequently I would be extremely interested in (and also willing to contribute to) materials which embed mathematical, physical and informatics content within a biological context. I can also imagine that this could be of interest to a wider audience than merely bioinformatics students - after all, physics students themselves may well be interested in the biological relevance of the skills they learn.

Best wishes,
Niall Palfreyman.
