I have been on this list serve for a couple of years and enjoyed reading the postings. I've never gotten "in the loop" but was just content to lurk around. I am an Assistant Superintendent in a school district just outside Charlotte, NC. I oversee accountability issues, school improvement,and strategic planning.

I just finished conducting a session with our school admiadministrators and teacher leaders on facilitative leadership, so this quote is especially meaningful to me. Trying to bring about meaningful change in a school system can be a once both exhilarating and depressing.
