Respected J Forrestor,


My name is Ashis Sen. I am an Engineering Graduate and am working with one of the oil Majors in India Hindustan Petroleum Corporation for the last 20 years. Lately I have been assoicated with the change managment initiative at HPCL( for about 2 years.) The book FIFTH DISCIPLINE opened up the subject of holisitc thinking in a strucutred manner for the first time. Therafter I made attempts to understand URBAN DYNAMICS by you, and Business Dynamics by John Sterman.


Some of my articles during the period were put in Society for Organizational Learning Repository or published in Reflections which I am enclosing for your kind perusal.


Intuitively, it is clear that systems thinking can only be meaningful if systems dynamics is properly understood. I have visited websites and found the cost of doing an e-course beyond my means, with the kind of salaries that we get in India. I was thrilled to see you participating in the K-12 conversations on feedback.


I seek help from a maestro like you to guide me in this quest. My desire is indeed deep which gives me the courage to approach a legend like you directly.
