We are testing the integration of some systems thinking concepts in a first grade class this year. We are using some of the stories recommended in Linda Booth Sweeney's book When a Butterfly Sneeezes and several exercises from the book The Shape of Change. We have eighteen students and the exercises and stories have resulted positive discussions. The students have the ability to understand the concepts in a simple way. The books are available through the Creative Learning Exchange.
