You raise some important points and make some good suggestions. At the recent ST/DM conference near Boston, Samar Singh, Director of the Trio World School in Bangalore, visited with other conference attendees and also encouraged international collaboration along the same lines.


As you may know, Samar has begun a program to encourage ST/SD at all grade levels in the Trio school, with the ultimate goal of reaching out and extending SD-based instruction into the broader school communities in and around Bangalore. The System Dynamics Group at the University of Bergen is supporting these efforts, through onsite workshops for teachers and by providing a pool of PhD students for Trio Teaching Fellowships at the school. One of our students is there for this academic year; she is teaching as well as serving as an SD resource person for faculty and students.
