Thank you for sharing your essay regarding the teaching and learning of systems dynamics.

You jump right into models. Models are based upon stocks/flows and causal loops. Icebergs and Ladders of Inference are also helpful tools to use to uncover underlying dynamics that cause an event (in an iceberg) or influence an indivdual's perspective (Ladder of Inference). These would need to be taught prior to using pre-built models.
