Here is another ancient model for education.

The concept of learning by teaching was documented by Seneca the Younger in his letters to Lucilius http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Epistulae_morales_ad_Lucilium

More recently Jean-Pol Martin has published his experience with having university students instruct the class learning French in a German speaking society. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Learning_by_teaching

My first workshop in dynamic modeling was in the summer of 1997. Not until I tried to teach teachers how to use SD in their classrooms did I really begin to learn SD. I had to learn how to show teachers how they could be successful in their own classroom using SD.
