Dear Tim:

The following image shows the importance of measuring the Q12 of emotional involvement of teachers and CE11 to assess the engagement of customers in any organizacióny as I said to shed light on the causes of poor performance of employees or teachers.

When two elements come together, there is a new concept has been called HumanSigma which is similar to the implementation of SigSigma used in industrial processes to improve quality but now this is to apply these same concepts of statistics but now focused on human being.

If we want to improve the process of human performance of teachers, we should not use the same tools used to improve industrial processes, so SigSigma is for industry and HumanSigma is for issues of culture and human performance, This term was invented back GALLUP and is tremendous, and are using it in some universities in your country such as the University of Nebraska.

The diagram I developed myself, based on what I learned from my personal studies of Q12 and CE11 and my understanding of HumanSigma, there are books written to document all this than I am describing and statistical meta-analysis provide evidence of universal validity of these concepts regardless of culture, language, country or idiosyncrasy question.

Although the diagram is in Spanish, you can translate your language to understand cause and effect that some cycles may be slowing the emotional involvement of your teachers and maybe this can give you light to develop a way to go step by step improving performance your people.

Tim, maybe this can help you sleep well, I hope it is useful for all this that I share.
