The fact that physical growth or dynamic change of any kind is occurring is feedback enough to inputs. Whether or not dynamic change occurs at a "consciously" controlled level does not change the fact that change is occurring and is responsive to the boundaries of the environment (Physically AND mentally) where it is occurring.
