Many, including me, have advocated using stories (especially news
articles) as a useful way to introduce systems thinking and dynamic modeling. But the discussion in the above links gives me pause - especially "...many things, like global climate change, aren’t stories. They’re issues that can manifest as stories in specific cases" feels right. Maybe there are implications here for how we should be using stories to educate people about systems thinking and dynamic modeling. Probably worth some discussion on the list.
