Dear List members,

As you all know, the stated reason for this list is for us to talk about the use of system dynamics in K-12 education. To that end, we are introducing a new innovation to activate the list and create a real dialogue. There are two parts to this effort. First of all we will request that all posts be consistent with the basic premise of the list. We welcome comments about the craft and the art of system dynamics for students in the classroom, both in pedagogy and content, and also the use of system dynamics in the administrative function. We also welcome comment from the system dynamics experts who are on this list to help keep us true to system dynamics principles and practice.

To that end, Tim Joy from Portland Oregon, whom many of you know, will be introducing questions, comments and nudges to help generate conversation and keep it on track. As you know, this is a self-monitored list, open only to its members (although at least 100 people a day try to spam it!). Please keep your comments germane to the topic at hand.

As always, we welcome and encourage interaction, questions and discussion. Please help us make this a useful and vibrant place to discuss the use of SD within K-12 education. We look forward to hearing from you.
